Joshua Walker is a shareholder in the Orlando based law firm Walker, Revels, Greninger & Netcher, PLLC . His practice area focuses on general liability insurance defense, governmental liability defense and commercial litigation, including trade secret and non-compete agreement disputes. Mr. Walker services a wide range of corporate, governmental and private clientele and has extensive litigation experience in state and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate level.
Mr. Walker is also a member of the armed forces and has proudly served in the United States Army and the Florida Army National Guard since 1997. Having begun his military career at the age of seventeen, Mr. Walker earned a promotion to Sergeant before graduating from Officer Candidate School in 2003. He served as a line battery platoon leader and executive officer in an Air Defense Artillery battalion before taking command of an Air Defense Artillery battery in preparation for deployment. He successfully commanded two-line batteries during a four-year command tour, including a one-year mobilization to the National Capital Region in support of Operation Noble Eagle. Mr. Walker currently holds the rank of Major and serves as the Commander of 3rd Battalion, 211th Regiment, and as the Commandant for the Florida Army National Guard Officer Candidate School.
Mr. Walker received a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the University of Central Florida. He is active in the community and spends his free time serving various charities and community-based outreach programs, such as the Orange County Bar Association Guardian ad Litem and Teen Court programs. He has been designated a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2012 and 2013.
