Jason L Joiner retired from the United States Marine Corps after 28 years as a Sergeant Major. He served in multiple combat operations including the Gulf War as well as 3 tours in Iraq. Over the course of his career he has assumed duties ranging from heavy equipment mechanic, Maintenance Management Officer, Air Delivery Platoon Commander, Truck Master, and senior enlisted advisor to multiple infantry commands to include Regimental Combat Team 6 in Fallujah, Iraq. His last official duty was as the Recruiting Station Orlando Sergeant Major where he spent over 2 years supervising 34 Offices and over 100 recruiters and staff members throughout central Florida. After retiring in March of 2012 he spent several months learning to transition back to civilian life while continuing his education in Industrial and Organizational Psychology before beginning work with Volt Workforce Solutions as the South- Eastern Region Military Heroes Program Coordinator. Currently He is a Program Manager at ProActive Technologies Inc. in Oviedo Florida. He is married Amy O’Neal Joiner and has 4 children. 3 boys all adults (ages 31, 22, and 20) and one daughter age 13.
